A probiotic blend containing 15 beneficial bacteria strains and 5 prebiotic strains designed to help create optimal microbial balance within the digestive tract.  The strains used have been scientifically tested to remain alive and recolonise in the colon, are stable at room temperature and do not require refrigeration.

The unique blend of 5 different soluble and insoluble fibres (prebiotics) ensures the good bacteria make it through the harsh stomach environment to your large intestines. These fibres also have a number of other wonderful benefits in the colon, including:

• Provide both habitat and food for the healthy flora culture, to remain alive in the gut and provide a habitat for the bacteria to pass through the warm acidic stomach environments
• Provides lubrication which makes digestion and elimination much easier
• Add bulk to the stool preventing hardening
• Are useful for absorbing excess bile acids in the intestinal tract which would otherwise be reabsorbed into the bloodstream and converted to cholesterol
• Absorb some sugar which may aid in controlling blood sugar

INGREDIENTS

Organic Psyllium seed powder, Inulin (fructooligosaccharides), Arabinogalactan gum (Larch tree), Wild-crafted Slippery Elm bark powder, Apple pectin, Lactobacillus sporogenes, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Entero-coccus faecium, Bacillus subtilis, Bifidobacterium bifidum; Bifidobacterium infantis, Bifidobacterium longum, DDS-1 acidophilus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus salivarius, Pediococcus acidilactici, Streptococcus thermophilus.

NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION

Mix 1/8 tsp of Ultimate Biotic in non-acidic juice (such as apple or grape) and let sit for 10 minutes. The pectins in these types of juices allows the bacteria to metabolise and provides an additional protective barrier for them to pass through the stomach. Consume 10 minutes before food, twice daily for best results. It is not necessary to mix with non-acidic juice and let sit, it simply provides an added benefit.

Alternatively, mix in water, smoothie or breakfast/food. Ultimate Biotic does not have flavour so it can be easily added to food without changing the flavour of your food/smoothie.
